Cards Of Hope – With Lacie Love Hester

69865385_1301612170020066_2410434374928433152_n (1)Cards of Hope was created to bring inspiration and happiness to children battling terminal illnesses. Cards of Hope was founded because of my experience with staying with my friend, Pennie, who had terminal cancer. She was always looking for some glimmer of hope or joy in every day that she was alive. Battling a life threatening illness is a horrendous thing to have to go through, and I feel that if I can do anything to brighten a warrior’s day then I will do it.

There are so many children fighting life threatening illnesses.  I decided to brighten the days of these patients, by sending them inspirational postcards, letters and etc. periodically. I send them cards and letters with stickers, coloring pages, temporary tattoos and etc. If you have a family member that is battling a life threatening illness, please fill out the form below so we can start the process.

Be sure to write in the comment section the Warrior’s favorite color, animal, hobbies, cartoon characters, type of illness, treatment, birthday , etc.

“Due to the nature of donations we receive, this program is geared to children 12 years old and younger.  We are happy to write to people of any age but the little gifts of cheer may just be too “young” for some of our participants.” – Lacie Love Hester

  3. What a truly wonderful thing you are doing. I lost my dad (too young) and one uncle to cancer and I also have an aunt and uncle who have had cancer (all brothers and sisters, all different kinds of cancer) Too many people have intimate relationships with this cruel beast, and every ray of hope makes us that much stronger, so I thank you. Thank you also for following my blog. It is much appreciated.
